I broke up with LinkedIn
I’ve decided to delete my LinkedIn page for the time being. When I am ready and think I have something that can actually make money and maybe some kind of skill I will consider going back.

@Erin Booth it’s exhausting if I’m to be honest. I may found like 2 nice people to network with everything else was just rude without me even saying a word. I got pitched and hounded by countless freelancers already offering what I was. I found myself more depressed than happy to be on there.i am more than happy to see someone’s success but I am ready for my own. I have had to survive on a cereal box a month for food since May. I want more but I’m starting to wonder if this path will offer with Ai replacing everything so quickly. I’ve even tried to offer Ai-assisted services and haven’t gotten a thing. At this post I may just close off my VA business or put it on hold. There is nothing I have skills at that someone else needs.
Coffee Chat Replay ▶️
The replay from our last call is up, and it's a good one! We got into how to run discovery calls that lead with your client's problems instead of your service list, why custom packages land better than a menu of everything you offer, and why following up 6 or 7 times isn't pushy, it's just how clients get won. @Stanley Azubuike chisom walked us through exactly how he prospects, from digging deep to find a client's pain points to making every follow-up worth opening, plus the tools he uses to make it all easier (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Alerts, and email tracking). We also talked about building a portfolio when you're brand new, whether to niche down yet (short answer: not yet, try a few things first), how to break into healthcare VA work, and how to wrap up the year by looking at what's actually working so you walk into 2027 with a plan. If you missed it live, grab a notebook and give it a watch!

I am getting exhausted. I’ve applied to 300 jobs, networked with people but so far nothing. At this point I’m not sure what direction to go in..

@Erin Booth thank you!! This is so helpful
Mid-Week Challenge | Before and after: what did you think VA work was?
Happy Wednesday!! Congratulations, you made it halfway through the week! 🏆 As part of this week's challenge, I'd love you to finish both sentences: 1. Before I started, I thought VA work was... 2. Now I know it's actually... Funny answers are welcome. Honest ones even MORE. I'll go first: "Before I started, I thought VA work was answering emails and booking flights. Now I know it's actually running someone's business behind the scenes while they take the credit. (Lovingly. Mostly.)" Drop yours below. I want to see ALL of them. 👇

Before I started I thought VA work was just answering phones and emails. After I’ve started as a VA it has been fulfilling, exciting, and has impacted my life in such positive ways. I cannot believe how many doors it’s opened and all the wonderful I’ve met and the ones I will meet soon.

@Erin Booth you are the kindest!! I’m so happy this made your day!! I absolutely love what I do as a VA. There’s literally limitless possibilities.
Bonus: VA Directory
Students enrolled in the VA Business Blueprint and Must-Have Skills programs can now list themselves in our client-facing VA Directory! If you're enrolled, you'll find the sign-up link in the last module — right next to the course review (which, hint hint, would make my day if you filled out 😉). Here's what the page currently looks like: https://www.erinbooth.com/hire If you'd like to be a part of the directory, you must be a student in the paid Blueprint and/or Skills programs 🤙

I’m having issues. I can access the website but I don’t see anywhere that allows me to list myself.
Your VA offer in one sentence (post yours below)
Hi everyone!! This week's challenge: ⭐ Your service offer in just ONE sentence. ⭐ What do you do, for whom, and what changes for them when they hire you? Post it below. If you can't say it in one sentence yet, that IS the exercise. Getting stuck is useful information because it usually means you're still trying to be everything to everyone, and that's exactly what we're fixing. Once you've posted yours, read two other offers in the thread and leave a comment on what you'd sharpen. You'll learn as much from giving feedback as you will from getting it. Here's an example: "I help busy founders free up 10+ hours a week by managing their inbox, calendar, and client communication so they can focus on the work only they can do." Your turn. Drop it below. 👇
