4/16/26 morning
Just got off my 24 hour shift, tried to catch the morning call. Hope you guys keep showing up and rocking each day for the kids! It's amazing to be a dad.
4/6/26
Good morning brothers! Just checking in. Had a great Easter weekend with my kids and it was clear they needed time home with their dad more than I did....and I needed it a lot to get that dad recharge. On shift today, but I hope you guys are still rocking it. 💪👊

Jumped on the call this morning, guessing everybody is busy (hopefully a good busy). My orientation at the fire department is coming along well. Training, joking, and making meals with the crew feels good to be back in that environment. GAL phone call today, so wish me luck. Small snow storm in ohio with ice in certain spots on back roads. It's a scary situation of the unknown about my kids, court is at the end of the month. It's hard to keep back the tears of not knowing when/where I'll see my kids starting in April. That's a reason why I took the fire department job is to be selfish. Worst case scenario I'm in a field that I love. Previously I made choices with family in mind...and look where it got me. But, even getting more time and being able to bring the kids home, I have a job that is consistent on schedule, off time 2 out of 3 days, and pride. Good luck brothers!! Reach out if you want.

Getting ready
Sorry for missing this morning guys. I was up late getting my copies of emails/texts/etc along with pictures to show for my custody trial. Any recommendations? Feel free to message me personally if preferred. I'm behind the 8-ball and will take any advice to get a better position.
Checking in 2/20/26
Hey brothers! Just checking in. I've been getting solid results getting into midnights, but the cost is my mornings to sleep and recharge. Things are looking up for a moment, except from an email exchange yesterday....I knew she was too quiet. Had a great time with my kids yesterday though as well. Quesadillas (homemade) for dinner and a request to go to the library on Tuesday. You should have seen the smile on my face!
