Jumped on the call this morning, guessing everybody is busy (hopefully a good busy). My orientation at the fire department is coming along well. Training, joking, and making meals with the crew feels good to be back in that environment. GAL phone call today, so wish me luck.
Small snow storm in ohio with ice in certain spots on back roads.
It's a scary situation of the unknown about my kids, court is at the end of the month. It's hard to keep back the tears of not knowing when/where I'll see my kids starting in April. That's a reason why I took the fire department job is to be selfish. Worst case scenario I'm in a field that I love. Previously I made choices with family in mind...and look where it got me. But, even getting more time and being able to bring the kids home, I have a job that is consistent on schedule, off time 2 out of 3 days, and pride.
