🚨 GCSE English Language Booster Session – Interest Check 🚨
With the English Language exams approaching, I’m considering running a small, focused booster session right before each paper to help your child feel fully prepared and confident. These would be 90 minute sessions designed to cover exactly what your child needs to be successful. What the session will include: ✔️ A breakdown of each exam question (AQA exam board) ✔️ Clear explanation of the Assessment Objectives (AOs) ✔️ What the mark scheme is really looking for ✔️ Key hints and tips to maximise marks ✔️ A full modelled response to each question ✔️ Students will complete exam questions within the class ✔️ Live, on-the-spot feedback on your child’s work (via Google Docs so I can track and mark in real time) Proposed dates: • Wednesday 20th May (6:15pm) ahead of Paper 1 exam (21st May) • Wednesday 3rd June (6:15pm) ahead of Paper 2 exam (5th June) Details: • £20 per student per session • Limited to just 10 spaces per session (to ensure high quality feedback) ⚠️ Important: If your child is already part of my tuition programme, they do not need to enrol aswe will be covering this within their current sessions. 👇 Interested? To help me decide whether to run these sessions: 1️⃣ Like this post 👍 2️⃣ Comment “I am interested” below I’ll then reach out with full details if we have enough interest. These sessions are designed to give students that final boost of confidence and clarity right before they walk into the exam. Let me know below 👇

Wellbeing Wednesday: You Don’t Need to Do Everything
With exams getting closer, it’s easy to feel like you should be doing more…More revision, more hours, more everything. But here’s the truth: You don’t need to do everything. You just need to do something - consistently. So, a reminder for today: • 20 minutes of focused revision is enough • One paragraph is progress • Learning 2 quotes is a win Small steps still move you forward. 🧠 Protect your wellbeing too: ✔️ Take breaks ✔️ Get enough sleep ✔️ Step away from your phone when revising ✔️ Give yourself credit for what you have done Parents, sometimes the best support is not pressure… It’s encouragement and helping your child build small, manageable routines. Today’s focus: Do one small thing for your revision AND one small thing for yourself. Comment below with: 🌿 = I’m taking it steady today 📚 = I’ve done my 20 minutes You’re doing better than you think 💛

💥 Motivation Monday: 6 Weeks Can Change Everything
Let’s be honest… 6 weeks ago: “I’ve got loads of time.” 😌 Now: “Oh… this is getting real.” 😳 Here’s the good news 👇 6 weeks is more than enough time to improve your grade… IF you start now. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be consistent. Try this this week: ✔️ 20 minutes a day ✔️ Learn 2–3 key quotes ✔️ Practise one short paragraph ✔️ Attempt one exam question (2 -3 paragraphs) The difference between students 👇 It’s not intelligence. It’s not luck. It’s the student who says: “I’ll do a little today… and again tomorrow.” Real talk 😅 Future you on results day is either saying: “Thank goodness I started when I did…” 😌 OR “I wish I’d taken it seriously 6 weeks ago…” 😬 Students, comment below: 💪 = I’m starting today 📖 = I’ve already started Parents, this is your gentle nudge moment 👀 Let’s make this week count 🚀
