So it begins... Thank you for being here.
The roots of anxious attachment run deep, but with time, care, attention and intention, it is possible to shift into a secure way of being. We had early childhood experiences that resulted in our nervous systems creating protective strategies to try to keep us safe. As adults, those strategies, if left unchecked, can sabotage our relationships (especially the one we have with ourselves). Iʻm coming at this from many years on the path that took me from suffering to self-awareness to becoming secure. It feels so important for me to now share what Iʻve learned so that others can make the shift from old reactive patterns into conscious choice. I look forward to what this community will become! Community is such an incredible tool for healing. Thank you for being here.
