HRT

Hi everyone!! I went to my provider and asked him for the blood work that you run for perimenopause. He asked me what my symptoms were and I told him, and he simply just gave me HRT. Should bloodwork not be done before just giving out HRT.? Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have it if I need it, as many doctors just won’t give it, but can it cause problems if you don’t?

And I also noticed that it’s just estrogen and progesterone. There is no testosterone in there.
