First it's anti vegans and now it's no raised beds, somewhere there's a hidden agenda to attack the fringe of society and make mainstream more acceptable. Where do internet influencers get their ideas ? The problem with social media is that a small fire spreads quickly and before you have time to check the reality, the myths become true . Can't people find real jobs, I'm part of a group of real technophobes who find it impossible to get the message across without being hypocritical. The next big issue is the world becoming paperless, we should start making flyers while we still can !

Wild garlic forage
I am tuckered out from the Florida Wild Quest scavenger hunt today. After dinner, I went to survey a patch of wild garlic and it was ready to harvest some.

Encouraging visits to botanical gardens & arboretums
Eye-opening opportunity for me this morning at The Harn Museum of Art’s Asian Wing offering a refreshing (ahhhh the sounds of flowing water falls) outdoor Asian garden area. Obviously Camelias, Jasmine, Rhododendrons & Azaleas, and Japanese Maples, all originate from Asia; I just discovered 8 plants that I grew up with and assumed were native, southern, plants but are actually introduced from Asia.

Farewell April
I've enjoyed the discoveries this month, although it did fly by. I saw this beautiful flower which I think is a Lobelia spicata but not sure because it was here one day and gone the next. Also, it's still spring and I'm thinking those are summer floraπŸ€” Working on the ID of this hickory tree, Carya tomentosa, maybe. And finally ol' Rufus the box turtle made an appearance.
