April challenge
Still observing signs of life (and death) In order of appearance It looks like the remains of daisy fleabane, so beautiful even on its last leg. Swamp dewberry (Rubus hispidus) a new discovery for me, and finally that beautiful and EVIL common ragweed! Now that I know what ragweed looks like as a baby I'm going to get 'em!

Farewell April
I've enjoyed the discoveries this month, although it did fly by. I saw this beautiful flower which I think is a Lobelia spicata but not sure because it was here one day and gone the next. Also, it's still spring and I'm thinking those are summer floraπŸ€” Working on the ID of this hickory tree, Carya tomentosa, maybe. And finally ol' Rufus the box turtle made an appearance.

Wild garlic forage
I am tuckered out from the Florida Wild Quest scavenger hunt today. After dinner, I went to survey a patch of wild garlic and it was ready to harvest some.
