EAT CAKE RUN CLUB BIG RUN WEEKEND EP: 25 is a reminder that consistency isn’t loud—it’s stubborn. BIG RUN WEEKEND, isn’t about chasing numbers, perfect conditions, or some magical burst of motivation. Big Run Weekend exists for the days when you’d rather not, when the schedule is tight, the weather’s off, or your energy just isn’t there. This is where Eat Cake Run Club leans in. Where we choose effort over excuses and prove—again—that showing up imperfectly is still showing up strong. By now, the New Year glow has long faded. Resolutions have been tested by real life, and progress may not look the way we imagined back in January. But here’s the truth: this is the part that actually counts. Week 25 is about building grit, not hype. It’s about doing hard things even when no one’s watching and there’s no finish-line celebration waiting. Big Run Weekend is the spark that carries us through the year—not because it’s easy, but because it teaches us who we are when it’s not. If you need a reset, a reminder, or a reason to keep going—this weekend is it. Show up. Do something hard. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

🎰 RUN ROULETTE CHALLENGE Eat Cake Run Club….. Run Roulette is exactly what it sounds like: you don’t choose the miles… the MILES choose you. Every day is a gamble. Some days are light. Some days are spicy. All days are about showing up. 🌀 HOW IT WORKS - Every morning, we will ask Siri or Alexa to give a random number between 1 and 26 - Whatever number is given = that day’s required miles Example: Number is 5 → run 5 miles Number is 18 → run 18 miles Number is 26 → buckle up 😅 - Miles can be completed however you need: One run or multiple runs Outdoor or treadmill Run, jog, walk, shuffle—we don’t care how fast, just that you do the miles 👀 PLAY ALONG & EARN POINTS Then head to the Run Roulette Chat Post Thread. You can earn points in TWO ways: 1️⃣ Guess the Miles (1 Point) - Guess what the next day’s miles will be - Guesses must be posted before the daily miles are announced - Correct guess = 1 point 2️⃣ Run the Miles (1 Point) - Complete the exact miles required for that day - Post your run (screenshot, photo, or app log) - Complete the miles = 1 point 💡 You can earn 2 points in a single day if you: - Guess correctly and - Run the miles 🏆 PRIZES At the end of the month: - Points will be totaled - The member with the most points wins Winner receives: - 💵 $100 CASH - 👕 Exclusive, unreleased Eat Cake Run Club apparel (free) If there’s a tie, we’ll handle it the Eat Cake way (details announced if needed). 🎂 THE GOOD STUFF! - This challenge is about fun, consistency, and doing hard things - You are always encouraged to: Listen to your body Scale when needed Skip a day if life or health requires it Run Roulette is here… LETS GOOO!

When your runner self asks your regular self if you really went all week without a run expecting a 10 miler on Saturday… 10 days in Hawaii and I’m on the struggle bus to get back in the game. 😳

Stoked to get my first 5km run ticked off after 6 months off and 3 weeks of building back - slowly 😊 - next goal 12km by end of March 💪🏃‍♀️. And the view aren’t half bad either 😃
