🎰 RUN ROULETTE CHALLENGE Eat Cake Run Club….. Run Roulette is exactly what it sounds like: you don’t choose the miles… the MILES choose you. Every day is a gamble. Some days are light. Some days are spicy. All days are about showing up. 🌀 HOW IT WORKS - Every morning, we will ask Siri or Alexa to give a random number between 1 and 26 - Whatever number is given = that day’s required miles Example: Number is 5 → run 5 miles Number is 18 → run 18 miles Number is 26 → buckle up 😅 - Miles can be completed however you need: One run or multiple runs Outdoor or treadmill Run, jog, walk, shuffle—we don’t care how fast, just that you do the miles 👀 PLAY ALONG & EARN POINTS Then head to the Run Roulette Chat Post Thread. You can earn points in TWO ways: 1️⃣ Guess the Miles (1 Point) - Guess what the next day’s miles will be - Guesses must be posted before the daily miles are announced - Correct guess = 1 point 2️⃣ Run the Miles (1 Point) - Complete the exact miles required for that day - Post your run (screenshot, photo, or app log) - Complete the miles = 1 point 💡 You can earn 2 points in a single day if you: - Guess correctly and - Run the miles 🏆 PRIZES At the end of the month: - Points will be totaled - The member with the most points wins Winner receives: - 💵 $100 CASH - 👕 Exclusive, unreleased Eat Cake Run Club apparel (free) If there’s a tie, we’ll handle it the Eat Cake way (details announced if needed). 🎂 THE GOOD STUFF! - This challenge is about fun, consistency, and doing hard things - You are always encouraged to: Listen to your body Scale when needed Skip a day if life or health requires it Run Roulette is here… LETS GOOO!

20/5/100..... The 2026 Jumpstart Challenge.
OK Ok OK.... The "holidaze" is officially over so we call can get back to it..... "OFFICIALLY" SO, Starting January 11th, 2026, we’re kicking off a brand-new challenge at Eat Cake Run Club—and it’s not here to be comfortable. (Read that again) :) It’s called 20/5/100 and it’s designed to test your consistency, your grit, and your mindset. Here’s the deal: for 20 straight days, we will run five miles every single day and complete 100 burpees daily. YES you read that right, and YES ABSOLUTELY you can do this... No NEGATIVE NELLYS HERE ! The miles will challenge your legs a bit , but let’s be honest—the real work is going to happen when you drop to the ground for the amazing and wonderful movement call burpees! This challenge is about showing up tired, sore, unmotivated, and still choosing to finish. The burpees are the mental barrier, and breaking through them is the point. (again read that again) That said, this challenge is about growth, not injury. If you’re not physically ready to complete all 100 burpees, do as many as you can with good form, then finish the remaining reps with strict, well-controlled push-ups. No shortcuts. No sloppy reps. Quality always wins. Here is the deal, Plyometrics are one of the most underrated secret weapons for runners—building power, resilience, and efficiency—and that’s exactly why burpees are part of this challenge. Strong runners aren’t just built by miles alone. And as a bonus? If you start getting after your burpees now, your summer beach wear is going to thank you later. This is a commitment challenge. A mindset challenge. A “who are you when it gets hard” challenge. I am in. Are you? V

ECRC 2026.... Outlook.... AMAZING!
Welcome to 2026. I can't believe it's already here. To tell you the truth, what an epic 2025 it has been.I think for Cake Run Club the most important thing that has happened in 2025 is that Eat Cake Run Club was officially established 2025. From the fourth 4QC that we just finished to the ECRC Goggins 4x4x48. Epic things from marathons to ultra marathons to huge BRW runs! We have shown up in 2025 in a way that I never thought was possible. And it's all because of you guys. So from the bottom of my heart thank you. Here's to each and every one of you.We have built the foundation of really the best run club running right now. I encourage all of us as we go into 2026 that we all find a way to set that bar a little bit higher. What's it gonna look like for us? How big can we go? What are the big challenges? Are you ready for the next challenge.... Alexa Roulette ? February 400? add a mile? All the above... YES. Thank you all for being the best for giving more than taking, for walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Here is to all of you, and wishing you the best 2026. V
