Blood Pressure of 144/54 at 17
How do you improve genetic blood pressure problems? No, I don't drink, smoke, use nicotine, or sleep bad. Yes, I exercise, meditate (low stress, 85 day streak🔥), eat clean, and I'm obviously not overweight. How can I lower my blood pressure? I don't want to take medicine because sweeping heart health under the rug and possibly TRT in 2-3 years is a terrible combination. I first noticed this problem a year ago when I got my medical done for boxing. It was 122/48. It's probably not cardio related and my current RHR is 51. I'm going to the doctors in week and I'll get medication. I'm led to think this is a genetic problem a) my habits being good, b) Grandmother and Uncle having high-blood pressure. My uncle had BP problems since his early 20s (late 50s now). I've been tracking my blood pressure for the last week and it hovers around 132(SYS), 69(DIA), 51(Pulse) On a side-note here's some of my medical history if it helps: 1. My mother developed gestational diabetes when I was in utero. I asked a doctor in a different skool community and he said it could be a driver, however my actual doctor says no. 2. Junior Fibromyalgia which is cured now although it's probably unrelated.
Thoughts on psychological/mental health conditions
Hello Dr., I'd love to hear some of your thoughts the common mental health conditions such as OCD, anxiety and depressive disorders, etc. In my own experience, and from my close male friends, it seems that certain SSRI and related medications are constantly prescribed and pushed. Would you say that optimizing HRT would be far more helpful in dealing with such conditions, or cases where these conditions are more mild or psychological/mindset related. And on the topic of OCD, is that a special case where you see immunotherapy or other types of treatments more appropriate than what is common treatment? Thank you
How to Actually Get Good Care from Your Doctor | Honest Advice
Have you ever walked out of a doctor's appointment feeling like you just talked to a vending machine? Weird, right? You're not imagining it. I trained in the conventional system - med school, residency, my own clinic for ten years - and in this one I pull back the curtain on what's actually happening on the other side of that desk. Here's the hard truth: most doctors are seeing 25 patients a day just to keep the lights on. They're rushed, they're stressed, and they've been trained to reach for a prescription pad first. It's not always that they don't care - the system squeezes the humanity right out of the visit before you ever sit down. But once you understand why your doctor behaves the way they do, everything changes. You stop taking it personally, you stop leaving frustrated, and you start knowing how to actually get what you need out of that appointment. I also get into a couple of my personal tells for a doctor worth keeping - and the two kinds I don't trust at all. The whole thing comes down to one idea: it's a dance, not a fight. You and your doctor actually want the same thing. Approach it that way, and you both walk out better off. If you've ever felt unseen in a doctor's office, this one's for you. 💬 Got a specific doctor situation that's been driving you crazy? Tell me in the comments - I read and answer every one. 📞 Want someone who'll actually treat you like a whole person? Tap the Book a 1:1 Call button and let's talk.

A Diet for building muscle mass.
What could You Doctor Ty tell us about nutrition in the context of building muscle mass? What nutritional protocol would be best? Carbs more or maybe proteins more for building muscle mass? What else should we pay attention to regarding nutritional values? P.S. I think it is a good topic for recording a video 🙂

250mg every 3 days
Hi dr Ty, I’ve been delving into your content (good stuff!) and I noticed that you advocate for quite a large TRT dose of 2500mg per month in order to get levels between 2000 - 3000 ng/dl. That’s a quite unique approach which honestly intrigues me. I’ve read studies supporting the fact that 600mg test weekly is tolerated quite well in men, but you hardly ever see this recommended by any TRT professional. Some would even state this to be a body building cycle. I would love to learn more about your views in this matter. What brought you to this protocol and why is it superior In your view (contrary to other protocols for example 200mg per week)? How do you manage overall health and androgen fatigue on these doses? Thanks in advance for elaborating.
