Blood Pressure of 144/54 at 17
How do you improve genetic blood pressure problems? No, I don't drink, smoke, use nicotine, or sleep bad. Yes, I exercise, meditate (low stress, 85 day streak🔥), eat clean, and I'm obviously not overweight. How can I lower my blood pressure? I don't want to take medicine because sweeping heart health under the rug and possibly TRT in 2-3 years is a terrible combination. I first noticed this problem a year ago when I got my medical done for boxing. It was 122/48. It's probably not cardio related and my current RHR is 51. I'm going to the doctors in week and I'll get medication. I'm led to think this is a genetic problem a) my habits being good, b) Grandmother and Uncle having high-blood pressure. My uncle had BP problems since his early 20s (late 50s now). I've been tracking my blood pressure for the last week and it hovers around 132(SYS), 69(DIA), 51(Pulse) On a side-note here's some of my medical history if it helps: 1. My mother developed gestational diabetes when I was in utero. I asked a doctor in a different skool community and he said it could be a driver, however my actual doctor says no. 2. Junior Fibromyalgia which is cured now although it's probably unrelated.
