If you can get yourself to Level 7 by August 30, you can snag a free ticket to the November Virtual Summit, which was announced yesterday. 78% of you are at Level 1. That's NOOB level \(see attached image\). A few of you made it to Level 2, fewer still to Level 3, and fewer still to Level 4. Right now, I'm the only one at Level 5... so let's see if you can pass me and beat me to Level 7. How do you level up? By posting intentionally, commenting thoughtfully, and inspiring others to hit the LIKE button on your posts and comments. Each time someone hits that like button on your post and comment, you get 1 point. It's THAT easy. 🌟 What's the point of leveling up? It makes for a more vibrant and engaged community. It helps the community rank higher in Skool Discovery, which means more people are likely to find it and join us. It's going to unlock all sorts of goodies for you in the classroom at other levels too. Maybe that's a 1:1 coaching call with Liisa. Or Joann's secret sauce for training new coaches. Or an opportunity to get both of us on a call with your entire team. Or free access to a paid workshop. Or a merch! So get going. But don't just try and post for the sake of getting points. Answer other people's questions. Help others succeed. Share your insights and knowledge. Recommend great races. Be a good ambassador for your club! Lots to put on your calendar for the next few months! ➡️ For those of you taking the Level 1 and Level 2 Steering Certification Courses, there are several new support calls scheduled: - August 18 - September 8 and 29 - October 20 ➡️ On August 20, September 18, and October 7 - come pick Liisa's and/or Joann's brain for an hour in three Ask Us Anything sessions. Bring your questions about coaching, steering, paddling, drumming, building, or managing a team. Or maybe you have questions for each other.. like how to repair boat dings, what kinds of wheels to use on your dollies, is X race a good one, etc. ➡️ November 7 + 8 is the next Virtual Dragon Boat Summit! The main day will be Saturday the 7th... with sessions throughout the day. Sunday the 8th will be a special add-on VIP session. Details to come soon, but block off your calendars now.

One thing you may not realize about this community is that when you invite someone to join, and they buy one of our qualifying courses, you can earn a little commission. For every few folks that register for a course, that could cover the cost of a new paddle for you, maybe a hotel night at an away festival, or some DB swag! EVEN IF you never buy a course yourself. Why are we doing this? Because we want to build this into a real community hub for the sport. Unlike Facebook groups full of spam and nonsense, this is designed to be a space where folks can genuinely connect, share tips and insights, and grow in the sport—without judgment or drama. So how do you invite people and get credit for it? On desktop, go to the little button on the right that says "SETTINGS" - click on it and a window will pop up showing you your unique invitation link. Copy that link, then share it with your club, crew, friends, etc. On mobile, click the 3 dots in the top right of your screen, click on "Invite People" then copy the link there. You can also visit our Facebook Page and share any of the posts there, like this one about the upcoming Summit, to your timeline. I'd love to have 100 people at the Summit and 1000 people in here by the end of the summer. And i'd really appreciate your help getting the word out!!! Thank you in advance!!
