Today's quote from the book:
“It’s not random motion; it’s targeted movement with meaning behind it.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 171
A lot of people confuse activity with progress. They stay busy, fill their calendar, and keep moving, but the movement is scattered. It gives them the feeling that something is happening, even when it is not leading anywhere meaningful.
That is not inspired action.
Inspired action has direction. It is tied to purpose, values, and the person you are becoming. It is not about doing more just so you can feel productive. It is about taking the right steps with the right intention.
That is where momentum changes. When your movement has meaning behind it, your actions stop feeling random and start becoming aligned.
