Faith & Focus
DWYK Ch. 4 - “Faith isn’t just about believing something out there. It’s about trusting what’s been placed in you. That includes your intuition, your values, and your sense of calling. And focus? That’s the act of aligning your actions with that inner conviction, day after day. When faith and focus work together, your path becomes clearer. You stop chasing everything and start moving intentionally. You don’t need to know every step. You just need to trust the next one and take it.” This is exactly how I’ve felt, like I’m being called to entrepreneurial work and that inner conviction drives me to take action each day.

Lead Your Emotions
Today's quote from the book: “You lead your emotions instead of being led by them.” Doing What You Know, Chapter 8, p. 145 When most people react, they’re not choosing. They’re being driven. By fear. By anger. By pressure in the moment. That’s why they say things they regret. Make decisions they wouldn’t normally make. Miss opportunities they should’ve taken. Reaction is automatic. Response is intentional. That’s the difference. Emotional control isn’t about suppressing what you feel. It’s about not letting what you feel take control of what you do. Because the moment you can pause… You can choose. And the moment you can choose… You take your power back.

@Ray Thigpen So true, emotions cause irrational behavior. I know if my emotions are driving it’s going to be a wild ride without much progress.
Move Anyway
Today's quote from the book: “Taking inspired action doesn’t mean you’ll have it all figured out.” Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 168 Waiting for clarity is one of the easiest ways to stay stuck. Because clarity usually comes after you move, not before. Most people want certainty first. They want to know it will work. They want to know it’s the right step. They want to feel confident about it. That’s not how it works. If you wait until everything is clear, you’ll wait forever. Progress happens when you take the step anyway. Not because you’re sure. Because you’re willing.

Waiting for certainty to arrive first is a great way to stay in limbo.
Imagine where you’ll be in 90 days…
If you stay consistent with effort and learning. What would change? 👀👇

@Ray Thigpen Yes, that pesky mindset makes so much difference doesn’t it!
Stop Planning, Start Moving
Today's quote from the book: “Goals and plans alone don’t change your life.” Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 169 Most people aren’t stuck because they don’t have goals. They’re stuck because that’s where they stop. Planning feels productive. It feels like progress. But nothing changes until you move. You can have it mapped out perfectly… and still go nowhere. Because execution is the difference. At some point, you have to stop organizing it… …and start doing it. Not perfectly. Not all at once. But in motion. That’s where change actually happens. Inside the Doing What You Know Skool community, we don’t stop at planning. We execute.

I’m learning that taking “messy” action is better than doing nothing.

“We become what we think about,” so I’m taking charge of my thoughts so I will have a great day full of taking action!
