Today's quote from the book: “Good intentions won’t take you to your dream. Only action will.” Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 171 Most people don’t get stuck because they lack desire. They get stuck because desire, by itself, doesn’t move anything. It feels good to set goals, talk about plans, and imagine what could be, but none of that changes a life unless it turns into action. That’s the hard truth. Good intentions can make you feel like you’re on the right track while you stay in the same place. They create the illusion of progress without requiring the discomfort of movement. Action changes that. Action forces engagement. Action creates feedback. Action exposes what needs to change and builds the momentum that thinking alone never will. If you want a different life, better intentions are not enough. At some point, you have to move.
