Stop Waiting to Feel Ready
Today's quote from the book:
“But the truth was, I was stuck.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 167
A lot of people don’t realize they’re stuck because they’re doing all the right-looking things. They’re learning, planning, organizing, and preparing. From the outside, it looks like progress. Internally, it feels like effort.
But nothing is actually moving.
That’s what being stuck really looks like.
It’s not always obvious. It hides behind activity. It disguises itself as preparation. And the longer it goes on, the easier it is to justify.
The shift happens when you stop confusing motion with progress and start measuring what you actually execute.
Because at some point, you have to stop getting ready and start moving.
