Action Builds Momentum
Today's quote from the book:
“The remedy? Action. Imperfect, messy, sometimes awkward action.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 9, p. 170
A lot of people wait until they feel confident before they move. They want clarity, certainty, and a sense that everything will work out before they take the first step.
That’s not how it works.
Momentum is built in motion, not before it. You don’t gain confidence by thinking about action. You gain it by taking action, even when it feels uncomfortable.
That’s where growth lives.
It’s not clean. It’s not polished. And most of the time, it’s not perfect. But it moves you forward, and that’s what matters.
If you’re stuck, don’t overthink the next step.
Just move.
