🌸 Free Prenatal Breastfeeding Class – March 29th | 12PM EST
If you’re pregnant and planning to breastfeed, this class is for you. Most moms don’t struggle because they can’t make milk. They struggle because no one explained what’s normal before baby arrives. In this live class, we’ll cover: 🍼 What actually happens in the first 72 hours 🍼 How much milk baby truly needs (and why colostrum is enough) 🍼 Cluster feeding — and why it doesn’t mean low supply 🍼 How to know if baby is getting enough 🍼 Latch basics that work from day one 🍼 What’s normal vs when to get extra support This is prenatal preparation — not 2am panic control. We already have 7 moms registered 💗 If you’re planning to come live, comment COMING below. If you can’t make it live but want the replay, comment REPLAY. Then head to the Calendar tab and click “Going” to save your seat. Let’s prepare before baby arrives — not after. — Karen

Welcome to Breastfeeding Prep & Support
Welcome to Breastfeeding Prep & Support Hi, I’m Karen I’m a postpartum nurse and lactation coordinator, and I’m really glad you’re here. This community is here to help you understand breastfeeding before it feels overwhelming — and to support you through real-life postpartum moments with calm, evidence-based education. Start Here 👇 1️⃣ Introduce yourselfShare: - Where you are (pregnant or postpartum) - How old your baby is (if they’re here) - One thing you’re hoping to feel more confident about Short and simple is perfect. 2️⃣ Start in the ClassroomBegin with:👉 Breastfeeding Preparation Before Baby Arrives(Even if your baby is already here — this sets the foundation.) 3️⃣ Explore at your own paceLessons are designed to be: - practical - easy to follow - focused on what actually matters - What This Space Is (and Isn’t) This IS: ✔ Education-focused ✔ Evidence-based ✔ Calm and judgment-free ✔ Designed to reduce overwhelm This is NOT: ✖ Crisis care ✖ Emergency medical advice ✖ Pressure to “do it perfectly” You don’t need to know everything right now. You just need a place that helps you understand what’s normal and what matters. If you later decide you want live teaching, structured support calls, or full guide access, those options are available separately inside the paid sections. But start with the free classroom first. You’re welcome here 🤍— Karen
Question
I was wondering if there is any tips and tricks on nipple sensitivity? When I have a let down, or wind feels it, when I touch it on accident, it’s so uncomfortable. Any advice?
Breastfeeding Q&A Replay: Common Questions New Moms Ask
We just wrapped up today’s Breastfeeding Q&A live, and it was such a great conversation. During the session we talked about some of the most common questions new parents have, including: • How to know if your baby is getting enough milk • Why newborns want to feed so often in the early days • What normal milk supply looks like in the first weeks • Why babies are often fussier in the evening • When pumping can be helpful and when it may not be necessary Breastfeeding can bring a lot of questions, especially in the early weeks, and my goal with these lives is to help parents feel more confident and less overwhelmed. If you missed the live, you can watch the replay here. Also, if you are pregnant or preparing for breastfeeding, I’m hosting a Free Prenatal Breastfeeding Class on March 29th at 12 PM EST. In that class we go step-by-step through what happens in the first days after birth so you can feel prepared before your baby arrives. If you’re pregnant, comment “CLASS” and I’ll send you the details. And if you have a breastfeeding question, feel free to post it below — I’m always happy to help.

Breastfeeding Q&A Replay: Common Questions New Moms Ask
Breastfeeding Q&A Tomorrow
I’m going live tomorrow — March 15th at 12 PM EST to answer your breastfeeding questions. After 17 years as a postpartum nurse and lactation coordinator, I know most moms worry about the same things: • Is my baby getting enough milk? • Is my milk supply okay? • Why is my baby fussy every evening? • Pumping vs nursing — am I doing it right? • How often should newborns be feeding? Nothing is too small to ask. 👇 Comment below: How old is your baby and what breastfeeding question do you have right now? I’ll answer as many as I can during the live tomorrow. If you can’t make it live, you can always catch the replay. Karen Gilbert, RN, CLS Postpartum Nurse & Breastfeeding Educator
