Friday tips
If your baby is getting fussy at the breast… pause for a second. Don’t jump straight to fixing the latch or switching sides. Just bring them in close, talk to them, let them settle. A calm baby feeds better. A worked-up baby fights everything. And for you… You’re not doing this wrong. You’re learning your baby, and they’re learning you. That’s not something you rush — it comes together over time. If today felt hard but you still showed up… that counts 🤍

Baby Feeding Guide (0–6 Months) — What Actually Matters (Not Ounces)
Let’s clear something up… 👇 Most moms are stressing over ounces… schedules… and “am I making enough?” But that’s not actually how feeding works. Here’s what’s normal: ✔️ Breastfed babies eat more often ✔️ Bottle amounts don’t equal breastmilk intake ✔️ Short, frequent feeds are normal ✔️ Distracted feeding around 2–4 months? Also normal And the biggest one… 👉 Your body is NOT measured in ounces What actually tells you your baby is getting enough? ✔️ Wet diapers ✔️ Weight gain ✔️ Baby behavior Not your pump Not the bottle Not what social media says If you’ve ever thought: “I don’t think I’m making enough…” You’re not alone — but most of the time, it’s not a supply issue…It’s an information gap.
