Really good article on UI/UX for developers
https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/why-front-end-developers-should-understand-uiux-design/ Lots of stuff here I wish I knew much earlier in my coding journey 🤝
When use AI?
At what point in the program do we graduate to using those cutting edge AI tools to speed up the processes like generating the basic structure and the first draft of the app you're going to build and then customize the design and functionality to your requirements and make it your own? Right now I'm using them only as a replacement for google search (although I'd end up reading the answers in stackoverflow a lot of times 😅) cuz I'm afraid of the two things. 1) Relying on them so much I miss out on the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and gain the necessary problem solving skills. 2) Hand coding every little thing to the point I miss out on the opportunity to leverage those tools and stay behind the curve. What about you?
I found a thing and it looks interesting
It's about common algos and data structures, also has everything categorised nicely. https://github.com/trekhleb/javascript-algorithms?tab=readme-ov-file
javascript - the weird parts
I'm sure I'm not the only one who at some point wondered how JS works under the hood, understand closures and types and why typeof null is an object?!? I recommend this course from udemy by Toni Alicea - Javascript: Understanding the weird parts (I purchased on Cristian's recommendation). I got it for less than £15, but sometimes it goes up to £60, so just follow it up for when they offer discounts. https://www.udemy.com/course/understand-javascript/?srsltid=AfmBOorkHOOkGvcyl9CK9vKaphgY1WGvgwaOartCoCzPC1fZMPCW9jEV&couponCode=ST1MT31025G3
HTTP / Fetch Documentation
A website for understanding HTTP requests, the structure of Fetch API and HTTP, and how fetching works with ways to tailor the information/data from it. I didn't realize that I didn't know what a header was, it's a key-value pair of metadata that's sent as part of an HTTP request or response. Link: https://fetch.spec.whatwg.org/
