I did the same thing! After joining an interview prep call I realised I needed to brush up my JS cardio, so had chat create a training plan and practised on Codewars. This past week has been tough though with all the kids panto's, dancing shows etc etc. But I'm over the worst of it now, so going to focus on React Challenges again before I forget everything I've learned!

@Cristian Florea I have updated now with async. I actually used async initially, but then tried the fetch-try-catch method just to see if I could. I prefer async/await though!

@Joshua Tillman for me it was a 12 week bootcamp, crazy 😅😅😅 I was up past midnight almost every night and back for more learning everyday. My husband and kids pretty much didn’t see me lol. I remember when I had to complete a react API challenge I was up till 5am, hadn’t done that since uni 😆 it was really full on and it pushed me to the limit. I learned a lot, and some valuable life lessons which I don’t regret but for the money I wouldn’t recommend as it doesn’t get you job ready unless you’ve got a lot more experience going in. I got lucky and managed to get into a startup about 6months after the bootcamp which let me keep practicing but like I said, I knew I didn’t fully understand even basic concepts so I’m at a point now where I know I need to re-learn everything properly. You’re going to love react, will look forward to seeing you completing the challenges in Jan, and hopefully by then I’ll be confident enough to give you some feedback !! 😎
