So yesterday Saturday I went to my second dating event ever as a complimentary event thanks to the general manager and I had a cool time. It was only 8 girls to talk to each round for 3 minutes but what I like different this time than last time is that this organizer gave us a 1 minute warning at the end to take advantage to ask for the girls number or match on the app to continue the conversation with them if we wanted. I felt very PRESENT at this event because I felt interested in what they we’re telling me and by the smile on their faces I know they appreciate it how I expressed my interest in what they found passionate about. There was this one girl I kinda liked because she was beautiful and had her shit together too so I asked her if she would like to keep in touch but didn’t feel the same because of my profession so she did reject me and I said no worries if anything I appreciate your honesty and took it well and then just wished her have a good day. It was at that moment I knew I had mastered rejection to the point I didn’t let it get to me like before because now I recognize my worth. I did however matched with this girl on the app in the end because I spoke to her in Spanish and I did message her to continue the conversation so I’ll just see if she replies. I had a cool time and I will continue to go to more dating events to socialize more and make connections. Thank you Shelley for your advice on dating, I put it into practice and now I feel not only with more clarity on dating but now I feel more confident in dating as well!
