On Monday I matched with a girl on Hinge. I honestly have no expectations. But i replied to her profile. It said: 'I want someone who supports my hobbies, and interests, can handle some light ribbing/taking the piss out of eachother and can make me laugh.' Now I replied to this: Absolutely 100 yes! I hope (fingers crossed emoji) you don't cry though. She replied: Hope I don't cry ever??? Or just whilst bantering? My reply: Just whilst bantering ;) I hope you could take it hehe x Her: Well I wouldn't put it in my profile if couldn't 🧐🤪 My reply: Well I just wanted to double check that's all 😉😂 . What are you going to crochet for me? 😊Great hobby BTW x. (She mentioned Crochet in her profile so i played on it) Her reply: Crochet for you?!!!! It takes forever! 😂 x My reply: Oh... 😂 Plenty of time for me 😇 haha. How long have you been crocheting? You must have some good patience! X Her reply: I started last year and taught myself from youtube x My reply: Nice that's really good. I'd love to hear all about it person 😉. Got much planned for your day? X ----------------------- Now I only replied this morning my time at around 6AM. I saw her last message round 7PM my time, but felt I will wait as I'm not in a rush. But, I'm seeing how this goes. I'm pushing for a date next because she seems to be on my wave length. Banter is basically a British term of making fun of each other without meaning. Well, this was unexpected. Here's to Valentine's Week!

Hand on heart; this is the most positive female interaction I have encountered so far! I asked for her phone number, she said "why", and I said "I want to get to know you". She said no and believe me it's a great step to be only rejected. I'm thankful she didn't cause a scene. And yes, I know we should go for more than a virtual mean, but baby steps.

Just sharing my recent win. On Monday at the Gym I was training legs and whilst resting between sets I turned around and saw a girl on the Leg Extension machine. She was getting off and looked right at me into my eyes. I nodded and said you alright. She said it back and walked to the treadmill. But she said it back with her headphones in lol. Anyways roll on to Friday morning. I was using the cable stack and she walked into the Gym with her friend. And looked at me right in the eyes again and I looked back. We didn't say anything but the look on her face was like oh it's that guy from Monday. I was just starting my set at the time. Let's see what happens next time 😉. Win: subconsciously saying you alright with no fear, and eye contact longer than usual.
