Strength RFD
GPP is simplicity and the base layer — powerlifting staples with a touch of plyometrics, safe and effective for most athletes early on. However, as training age and performance level rise, GPP alone (lifting + basic jumps) may not be enough to close specific gaps, such as rate of force development (RFD) across different vectors/planes, or sport-relevant isometric strength-endurance.
Either way: Strength is the Mother, and RFD is the Father. 💪
