Has anyone linked a video to a scheduled video?

On YouTube, I publish short form videos on Wednesday and Friday at 7pm. On Sunday I post a long form video at 4pm. All three videos are scheduled in advance. I would like to provide a link from the short form videos to the long form video. Is that possible?

I asked this question of both Gemini an ChatGPT and received almost the same answer from both. Gemini said I could link to either a scheduled or unlisted video. Chat said I could only link to an unlisted video, but then I could make the unlisted video a scheduled video and the link would still work. Unfortunately, in practice I'm finding that the link actually opens the scheduled video. What am I doing wrong?
