Has anyone linked a video to a scheduled video?
On YouTube, I publish short form videos on Wednesday and Friday at 7pm. On Sunday I post a long form video at 4pm. All three videos are scheduled in advance. I would like to provide a link from the short form videos to the long form video. Is that possible? I asked this question of both Gemini an ChatGPT and received almost the same answer from both. Gemini said I could link to either a scheduled or unlisted video. Chat said I could only link to an unlisted video, but then I could make the unlisted video a scheduled video and the link would still work. Unfortunately, in practice I'm finding that the link actually opens the scheduled video. What am I doing wrong?

Day 14 - Don't Stop Now: the power of imperfect beginnings!
I am a believer in divine timing! Step 4 of this lesson asked, "Who are you becoming as a creator because of the last 14 days?" To be gut level honest, the last two weeks have been more challenging personally. Making me look face to face with the behaviors of the old me and the me I am becoming. 14 days ago I was in full "grama mode". Loving life, setting aside time to enjoy family, yet still showing up for an hour or two everyday to move forward in my YT journey. 7 days ago, I was hit hard with an upper respiratory issue, if I talked, I coughed! I showed up very little, dwindling to a complete no show for a couple of days, turning into an old familiar couch potato scrolling through shows! Today, I feel much better, still foggy in the head. I was offered a job opportunity with my old employer yesterday. I had to really stop and think about my here and now and how every decision I make today, will have a lasting impact on my future. The timing the job offer (I declined it), the challenge of personal distractions and Day 14 in the challenge ( I did it), is showing me how capacity and trust is built in what will be released to me in the future. Everyday we have choices to make, some are great opportunities that will change the trajectory of your future. Sometimes life makes the choice for you and causes delay. Even delayed, staying the course is proof to myself and to God "I finish what I start." And this for me is a big deal. I have 67 years of great starts and few finishes. I could have been easily persuaded to jump ship the last 2 weeks, fun with family and illness are the two biggest things that tend to derail me. Back to Day 14 - Step One - I watched the video I posted 12-4-2025, the day I decided to go all in (again) on this YT thing! It has been 110 days of upward growth, consistently posting videos, learning as I go. Steps 2 - 4 reminds me that I have invested a lot of time in to learning, and application over the last 3 months. Step 5 energized me back into the game because there is some more things I want to learn on this journey. I want to move from being a talking teaching head to a, friend who engages in conversations. I want to do a better job with thumbnails, titles and creating a tight message to a small group.

Teleprompter help
Hey everyone, I've lost countless hours and days over the past few months trying to solve this teleprompter issue and it's preventing me from getting my videos done which is incredibly frustrating and I'm no closer to getting a solution. First of all, I realize I can use bullet points, but not really because I do super in depth videos with specific historical info that I need a script for, so I don't need that suggestion. The trouble I'm running into is there is only one app I know that allows me to use my own phone camera, so that's fine (it's floating) but it won't let me touch the screen if I need to scroll back without messing everything up. But it also won't let me connect to some sort of bluetooth remote to control it. So I look into physical teleprompters but I still need an app to control the scroll. Plus I already spent all this money on getting my phone set up perfectly and if I have to buy a physical teleprompter to use my phone with that goes down the drain. I cannot find an answer. I need to be able to use my own phone camera and control the scroll without it interrupting the video. Help please! TIA

I had a similar problem. I couldn't find a teleprompter that worked with Android. So, I solve it by simply recording at my desk and I used MS Word on my screen with a cordless mouse for scrolling.
Sharing a win! 🥳
I tried a new format for my most recent video where I did a full walk through of a free expense tracker I created. Even with less than 100 views, it led to several people downloading the free spreadsheet and which converted to 3 sales on Etsy for my budget template! 🥳🥳🥳

Nice win.
How do you store your old raw video footage.?
Hi everyone,I run a travel and golf channel, and I really like keeping ownership of all the raw video footage we film on our trips. For me, that footage has a lot of value because I can reuse it later for new videos or other content. The problem is that my workspace is now full of all kinds of hard drives, which I really do not like. On top of that, my footage is not 100% secure. I also want to make sure everything is backed up properly, so if one of my drives gets damaged, I still have my footage safely stored somewhere else. How do you store your old raw video footage?

I was discussing this with ChatGPT awhile back and the AI suggested that an old computer could be set up as a storage unit. It wouldn't need a lot of software and so all drives could be storage. The unit could be accessed over the house wi-fi network or by Bluetooth.
