#TipTuesday | Don’t try to outsmart Wall Street. Play the long game.
The amazing proved to me that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
Viki completely shifted my thinking about investing and taught me to become an investor at the tender age of 52.
What inspired me was the story Viki shared with me about Warren Buffett’s famous bet:
He challenged hedge fund managers that a simple, low-cost index fund (ETF) would beat their high-fee, complex strategies over 10 years.
And he was right. The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF outperformed the best of the best.
👉 Tip: It’s not about timing the market, it’s about time in the market.
As Viki puts it, one of the best things you can do as an investor is... wait for it, NOTHING. Hold on to your investments. Play the long game.
Consistently investing in simple, low-cost ETFs can build wealth more reliably than chasing quick wins.
