Yesterday I attended our Skoolers IRL Meetup hosted by @Sam Greiner and her guy Brian.

And I got to meet someone in person that I befriended on Skool - my deary @Nadia Quraishi

We giggled like HS girls about how our husbands were all like "you're going to meet WHO at WHERE and for WHAT?" because Skool is still new to us and our families and re-explaining is going to be a thing for a while, and that's OKAY!

But yesterday highlighted the importance of getting in the room with people who understand what you’re trying to achieve. It was a room where your why didn’t need to be explained. We shared, we asked, we advised, we brainstormed, we compared notes, we celebrated, and we hugged.

New Jerseyans are huggers. 😆

It was so dope to be in the room with other Skoolers who immediately understood. Our group topics were so different. The age ranges and backgrounds were diverse, which made it even more beautiful.

My dopamine is still on high, and I’m already looking forward to the next one.
