Mommy’s Birthday Gift #2 was a Pocket Hug

With the help of the grands, I quickly made a pocket hug for them to give to their Mom on July 10th. After putting the note in a small jewelry bag along with the hug, when Campbell was presenting it to her Mom, Campbell immediately took the paper out of the bag and crumbled it, and squeezed the heart while I looked on in horror. A few lessons I learned as I did a make over today: 1) laminated the note, 2) used a heavier gauge wire in the heart, 3) make the ends of the wire into a small spiral so they do not come through the heart, and 4) tie the heart to the card.
