Frustrated is an understatement!
I had so many thoughts on how I wanted to title this post, including “I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED,” and “DON’T GIVE UP!” It’s been a week since I’ve been back from vacation, and I’m feeling like I have not accomplished much, and it’s not because I haven’t been trying. First, I thought, I just had lost my groove and it would come back! Frogging had become the #1 word in my vocabulary. I don’t recall how many times I tried, before I said ENOUGH, remember when you have lemons, make lemonade! Maybe I can get a headband or just make some cords. Anyway, I’m sort of digressing, I posted previously 3 beanies I made that I would be sending to Buffalo. But it occurred to me I needed to make complete sets. Plan is to make a baby cocoon, small scarf and a larger one. Problem is, every time I got started there were dropped, missed, puckered, or tuckered stitches, whatever you want to call it! I finally saw there was a broken needle. After watching a YouTube video, I thought I fixed it and was good to go. I only needed 150 rows for the cocoon. Why oh why, did I get to row 137 and the stitches started dropping like crazy. That’s when I said I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED! There was enough rows for a beanie. But casting off, I didn’t get that right either. So, maybe later today, I will create something from this mess!
