First Blanket

Good morning everyone,I finally got enough courage up to make my first Blanket.Actually it’s a lap blanket for a senior in a nursing home.I did four tubes 180 each,braid join .That was easier than expected the hard part was a trim.Im not a crochet person but I tried it.I did 2 rows of single crochet at the top,no I didn’t like it,ripped it out next day and did 3 rows of double crochet.I laid it out and the crochet was wonky.So with Ruby and Kim I ripped that out and decided one round of single crochet every other stitch and now I’m happy pic below.Lion Brand Ice Cream
