Color Block Poncho
I finally finished it! And I really love how it turned out! I loved the poncho designs in the Classroom section, but I didn't want one that had the tubes/panels going horizontal. If I'd done a solid color, that would be fine, but I wanted to use this lovely LB Mandala yarn, and I knew there would be blocks of color. I figured vertical would be better with this width (Sentro 48) of tubes. I used the Addi 22 to make a tube I used as a collar/cowl, and attached it at the neckline.
There are a couple minor changes I'd make if doing a second poncho like this, but nothing that drastically changes the look or fit. Just how I'd assemble it! I am also looking for some kind of embellishment for the front of the neckline. Possibly making an iCord belt as well.
Hope you like my first real design and completed project!
