What are you currently doing to improve on bass?

Hi everyone! Currently, I'm pretty new to gospel music so I don't know much about the players and the songs and I'm also currently limited as I only have 4-string basses in my arsenal. I would really appreciate some suggestions for gospel songs that were recorded with a 4 string bass that I can learn/practice to hold me over while I save up for a 5 string. Thanks!

Hey everyone, So excited to have you here. I'm Caleb and grew up playing bass in church but had no one to teach me & was self taught by force. Often we wear self taught as a badge of honour but it's not until I went to uni that I realised how limiting that was for me. Long story short, did my music degree & had a career as a professional bassist in TV, Film, The West End and session work. Now I teach on a music degree course and want to build a community to bring that level of education to people looking to play in church so you don't have to do it the hard way. Oh and also, this community is going to reach a wide range of people from different cultures, countries, communities and walks of life so be respectful with everyone and stick to talking about playing bass in church.
