Try this 1 chord major gospel lick Idea
I recorded this for a student and it was too large to send directly via WhatsApp so it's all uploaded to YouTube now. Let me know your thoughts. The main thing I want to get across is that it's vital to understand the number system and corporate progression underneath the links that we learned so that you can actually use them in your day-to-day playing.
But try out this little idea as it's always good to have a bank of vocab that sounds great over a one major chord because you'll get a lot of of them!
