⚡️ The Pivot: Why I walked away from a "Viral" niche.
Sunday Reflections Change is coming to True North. Over the last two weeks, I’ve been refining behind the scenes, and the lessons have been brutal but necessary. 🪤 1. The Meta Trap 🧀 I recently tested a consultancy helping women navigate friendship. I posted one data-collection thread as my very first post, and it went viral—63 comments in under an hour. Then, Meta deleted the account. Total wipeout.💥 🙄 The Lesson: Never build your foundation on land you don’t own. I refused to let my business be that vulnerable to an algorithm. 2. The Parasocial Problem Beyond the tech, I realized the niche was wrong. My personal story of friendship "triumph" was creating a magnet for parasocial relationships. I didn’t want to spend my career managing boundaries and coaching vulnerability—I wanted to solve high-level problems. 🧂 3. The Arrival: Salt & Sulfur 🤑 I stopped oscillating between "niche" and "nature." I sat down with a mentor to align my business career with my metaphysical skills. The result is The Salt and Sulfur: A high-end art-therapy agency for High-Net-Worth individuals. - The Mission: Helping the 1% navigate achievement disappointment, trust-fund aimlessness, and high-contrast conflict. - The Team: A collective of therapists, lawyers, and entertainment producers facilitating immersive "scenarios" for radical breakthrough. These are my peers, my old bosses, and my friends. I’ve watched them burn bridges because they couldn’t get real. Now, I help them build. What this means for True North - The Community stays. Same mission, same focus. - The Silo Economy is still being written. - Future Growth: Eventually, I’ll be opening a second tier to teach Wealth Managers and Brokers how to white-label these experiences for their own clients. I’m no longer fracturing myself to fit in. I have arrived. Stay tuned for the next chapter. How have you pivoted?

The Value in Direct Exchange
I’ve been a bit absent today… Yesterday I was delighted to experience a 1:1 exchange with our member @Justin Yip , whom I recommend booking a session with if you want to uncover what you need to know to book more clients. I learned something valuable I’ll keep with me moving forward. I am way too apologetic. This is a habit I picked up over the last few years of navigating Southern life again in GA and back in TX. Drip everything in honey and apologize for existing. That doesn’t work in coaching spaces. As a matter of fact, consistently apologizing for noticing every shift in energy just means you’re ‘pandering to other people’s emotions.” Coaching works best when you’re honest in your most authentic expression and able to stand firm in however that lands. Allowing people the right to feel, express, and react in their full truth is the key to a successful session, and successful relationships in life. Today, I exchanged a 1:1 with a lovely coach I met on Threads named Kassy Webb. It took 30 minutes for me to fully unmask and break down what I do, why I do it, and begin questioning my reason for choosing this niche. What I uncovered was such an emotional release I cried. Within the last 10 minutes I figured out a strategy, methodology, and proper niche for my most prominent skills. For now I intend to keep my Skool community to keep developing myself in this niche and platform, if that changes I will let everyone know. Additionally, i’ll be focusing on Instagram and LinkedIn for my more immediate coaching niche. What’s the most profound coaching exchange you’ve experienced?
An Astrological prelude to - The Silo Economy by Cheryl Dearborne
🌟 An Astrological Prelude to The Silo Economy We are living through the Pluto in Aquarius era—a 20+ year transit where Pluto, the celestial force of power, death-of-an-era, and societal transformation, moves through the sign of the cosmic individual, Aquarius. ♒️ This shift aligns with key concepts in Human Design, specifically the approaching 2027 transition from the Cross of Planning to the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. Ra's insights predict a complete breakdown of societal structures that serve the tribal-collective (e.g., hospitals, post offices, public services) as they give way to privatization. Globalism, as we've known it, will become a thing of the past. For the record: I have mixed-opinions about these predictions, and some ideas of my own that I will address in separate material. Astrology confirms this trajectory. Modern astrologers are intensely focused on this Pluto in Aquarius period. Pluto's "wrecking ball" has already begun dismantling the Capricorn-Saturnian structures of the Industrial/Corporate age. This transit is ushering in rapid and significant changes involving privatization, wealth-exchange, power-exchange, and technological advancements—forces powerful enough to fundamentally alter everything we currently know. This crossroads is simultaneously exciting, scary, and beautiful. Humanity and Earth have survived countless eras, and we are now privileged to sit at the precipice of another. 💎 Why The Silo Economy, and Why Now? - The Craving for Safety: As obsession and nihilism increase, so will the need for security. Large-scale social platforms and collective spaces are being widely seen as more dangerous, driving a craving for peace and connection with less noise. - The Flow to Siloes: Attention will naturally flow into small, discrete "siloes." These smaller communities will be based on mutual interests and a managed level of discretion and trust. - Interests Over Identity: The shift will move away from the current identity-focused social and political battles. Humanity will form tribes based on mutual interests rather than cultural identity. (This is an educated prediction based on observing social trends from AOL 2.0 to the present).

Solo Challenge for Nordic Entrepreneur!
Hi @Nordic Entrepreneur !! Our fun starts immediately! And since you and I are the only members of this collective right now, I think we should have some fun towards our goals. I'm working on my intake forms and marketing strategy. 💥 UNIQUE SOLO CHALLENGE: Build Your Anti-Office Manifesto Your Mission: Create a compelling video essay or article (your Manifesto) that serves as a call-to-arms for those seeking freedom from the corporate grind. Your piece must address at least one point from each of the three pillars below. Pillar I: The Machine (Deconstruct the System) (Choose at least one of these critical views for your piece) - The Aesthetic of Captivity: Analyze the office culture, architecture, and aesthetics that make the workplace feel like the antithesis of freedom. - A History of Control: Look at the history of the office and the 9-to-5 workday. Where did these structures come from, and why are they obsolete today? - Global Models: Observe post-Tech boom or global office cultures. Are there any models that could actually make you reconsider working in that manner? Pillar II: The Blueprint (Design the Revolution) (Use this creative challenge to envision the alternative) - The Freedom Hub: If you were to scale your own venture to require a headquarters, how would you envision a setting that absolutely champions personal freedom, self-sovereignty, and creative flow? Pillar III: The Escape Plan (Define Self-Sovereignty) (Choose at least one of these strategic questions) - The Strategy for Freedom: What are your specific plans for setting yourself and others free from the traditional office? - The Responsible Anarchist: Once free, how do you balance personal freedom with the personal responsibility of protecting that freedom (e.g., earning sufficient income, providing real value)? This challenge is for you! Feel free to share your video essay or article here, in your group, and/or anywhere else your aligned audience exists.
