⚡️ The Pivot: Why I walked away from a "Viral" niche.
Sunday Reflections Change is coming to True North. Over the last two weeks, I’ve been refining behind the scenes, and the lessons have been brutal but necessary. 🪤 1. The Meta Trap 🧀 I recently tested a consultancy helping women navigate friendship. I posted one data-collection thread as my very first post, and it went viral—63 comments in under an hour. Then, Meta deleted the account. Total wipeout.💥 🙄 The Lesson: Never build your foundation on land you don’t own. I refused to let my business be that vulnerable to an algorithm. 2. The Parasocial Problem Beyond the tech, I realized the niche was wrong. My personal story of friendship "triumph" was creating a magnet for parasocial relationships. I didn’t want to spend my career managing boundaries and coaching vulnerability—I wanted to solve high-level problems. 🧂 3. The Arrival: Salt & Sulfur 🤑 I stopped oscillating between "niche" and "nature." I sat down with a mentor to align my business career with my metaphysical skills. The result is The Salt and Sulfur: A high-end art-therapy agency for High-Net-Worth individuals. - The Mission: Helping the 1% navigate achievement disappointment, trust-fund aimlessness, and high-contrast conflict. - The Team: A collective of therapists, lawyers, and entertainment producers facilitating immersive "scenarios" for radical breakthrough. These are my peers, my old bosses, and my friends. I’ve watched them burn bridges because they couldn’t get real. Now, I help them build. What this means for True North - The Community stays. Same mission, same focus. - The Silo Economy is still being written. - Future Growth: Eventually, I’ll be opening a second tier to teach Wealth Managers and Brokers how to white-label these experiences for their own clients. I’m no longer fracturing myself to fit in. I have arrived. Stay tuned for the next chapter. How have you pivoted?

What Are The Honest Things?
The past 14 days have been extremely enlightening; your collective input has clarified and strengthened my mission. Thank you for your valuable contributions. @Nordic Entrepreneur Your consistent community organization and mission-aligned content are an inspiring daily reminder to keep building. @Helen Sandwick Your consistent, care-forward community engagement aligns with my ethics and validates my choices here. @Dinka Salvador Your statement about me 'rubbing people the wrong way' (taken as a compliment) led to profound healing and clarity, helping me fully bridge my multitudes into a clear mission. Thank you for living authentically. @Justin Yip You gently pushed me to charge appropriately for my services and challenged my habit of apologizing, which, alongside Dinka's advice, helped me shed a creative-blocking mask and step into my full expression. You prove this community is working. I prioritize its value and character over True North's rank. Thank you all for a great introduction to community building.

KISS 💋
Keep It Simple Smarty! Today’s challenge for myself is to take my grand plans for 2026 and find a simple, immediate way to launch something adjacent and immediately valuable. 1 thought i have is a quick PDF about The Silo Economy i can market and sell in anticipation to the book release. Instead of delaying all my action to market it, i can not only build buzz, but create a leas magnet to my pre-sale, and the Skool community. What about you? What’s 1 thing you can experiment with making simpler and more immediate?

Silo Economy - Sample
Here is a little Sample of my book The Silo Economy! ENJOY! ----------------------------------------------------------------- ... It seems the more people become funneled into Siloes, the more they feel comfortable creating siloes of their own. now we have an opportunity to be creators, and stick to niches we are comfortable with, rather than mold ourselves around the shadowy rules of the algorithm. These days we get to build sustainable income on smaller communities through subscription pricing, and high-ticket offerings. ⏰Now—The price model on niche communities is a cited concern. Netizens are growing tired of the subscription model of micro-payments eating their money for platforms and software we can never own, and for "the meek", this model feels too unsustainable to grasp. And those who are not experiencing the free, and paid private communities would have no idea the gold mine that still awaits them. Welcome to the new wild wild West. Are you going to inherit the wealth, or spin your wheels for yet another cycle? 🤠1.3 Meet the Meek: We are the toilers, the wage laborers...the proletariat. The 'meek' for the purpose of this guide, are people who spend their days getting by. Our teachers, those of us handling fast food orders, our secretaries and estheticians, our retail workers, gardeners, stay-at-home moms, and parking lot attendants. We are the "bottom" 99%! 🚩 The biggest scam against "the meek" is that our knowledge and expertise is low-value. Tell that to Dylan, the ice cream scooper who went from making Youtube shorts about scooping ice cream for customers, making ice cream cakes, and refilling the soft serve machine, to opening up his own flagship ice cream shop in NYC.Tell that to the kid in their bedroom selling digital clothing/skins to other kids for their Second Life characters and teaching courses on how to make cozy girly games with AI. Those of us living normal lives, tapped into the pulse of society where it counts, have much to offer, and people will pay well with attention, time, money, and long-term support for our offerings.

SOLO-MISSION FOR HELEN SANDWICK
Hello, Helen! First, I want to say thank you for filling out my intake form. What a gift it was to get to know you. Since your goal is to make the journey of passive income more artistic, it took awhile, but I finally thought up a fun mission for you. Choose 6 different types of creators and artists that cover a range of art styles and topics (beauty/philosophy, Sculpture, architecture, design, painting, eetc.) and watch their videos, documentaries, or read their books. I would suggest this very awesome youtuber Heaven Sent Honey as a part of this project. Here are two videos you may really enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ixeNQZVxyw&t=12s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUN_Yq0qVVk&t=749s I also recommend watching anything from the Abstract series on Netflix, or any documentaries about Frank Lloyd Wright that you might find on Youtube. Also Art Buckminster Fuller, whose philosophy to "do more with less to make the world work for 100% of humanity..." may align with your mission. Your only mission is to find inspiration in spaces outside of your immediate discipline/business and find an artful way to incorporate anything that moves you into your flow (workflow, mundane experiences, content, conversations, etc). The goal is that you find and create an abstract and artistic methodology for your Skool, business, or day-to-day life that supports your values.
