I’ve been a bit absent today…
Yesterday I was delighted to experience a 1:1 exchange with our member , whom I recommend booking a session with if you want to uncover what you need to know to book more clients. I learned something valuable I’ll keep with me moving forward. I am way too apologetic. This is a habit I picked up over the last few years of navigating Southern life again in GA and back in TX. Drip everything in honey and apologize for existing. That doesn’t work in coaching spaces. As a matter of fact, consistently apologizing for noticing every shift in energy just means you’re ‘pandering to other people’s emotions.” Coaching works best when you’re honest in your most authentic expression and able to stand firm in however that lands. Allowing people the right to feel, express, and react in their full truth is the key to a successful session, and successful relationships in life.
Today, I exchanged a 1:1 with a lovely coach I met on Threads named Kassy Webb. It took 30 minutes for me to fully unmask and break down what I do, why I do it, and begin questioning my reason for choosing this niche. What I uncovered was such an emotional release I cried. Within the last 10 minutes I figured out a strategy, methodology, and proper niche for my most prominent skills.
For now I intend to keep my Skool community to keep developing myself in this niche and platform, if that changes I will let everyone know.
Additionally, i’ll be focusing on Instagram and LinkedIn for my more immediate coaching niche.
What’s the most profound coaching exchange you’ve experienced?
