The Cup of Tea That Changed Everything
Many years ago, during my time in policing, I learned something important. People don't always remember what you said. They don't always remember what you did. But they often remember how you made them feel. Sometimes the most powerful act of kindness isn't grand or dramatic. It's simply taking the time to sit down with someone, listen to them, and let them know they're not alone. A cup of tea. A phone call. A few minutes of your time. Small things. Yet those small things can create ripples that spread far beyond what we ever see. That's one of the reasons I wrote The Ripple Effect. Because kindness rarely ends with the person who receives it. It often continues through the people they later help. Discussion Question What is the smallest act of kindness someone has shown you that you still remember today? I'd love to hear your stories.
