I’m amazing myself. This is not me bragging, but I shot again at the Dew bottle. 4th and 6th shot in the first pic at 16 yards. Then 4th shot at 20 yards.

Down in VA visiting my folks and checking out the house we are buying. Our house we are selling, started on Sunday with an open house from 10am-12pm. By 2pm we had a full price offer with up to $10k over asking to beat other offers. By 5pm we got another offer, triggering the first offer going up $5k. Today it went under contract for $6k over asking. To de-stress, I strung my Bear Super Mag 48 and taped a Diet Dew bottle to my Dads target. Went to the end of his garden, guessing about 15 yards and tried to put an arrow thru the bottle opening. The 9th and 10th shot are pictured. Wasn’t a cold shot, but string therapy none the less. We will be Tennesseans within a month or so!

Been pretty much balls to the wall the last month. Working 9 hour days at Ruger then coming home and putting in 2-3 hours getting the house ready to put on the market. Had a nice afternoon and took advantage of getting some shots in. It was the happy break I needed. No photos were taken, just enjoying the stick and string. Now back to the grind. LOL

A little nock high kick easily solved for the new bow by adjusting for some brace height and nocking point. Anyone else tuning a new bow or new arrows? 🏹 Happy Shooting!

As most of you know, I had bronchitis and cracked my ribs coughing almost two weeks ago. I havent been shooting which really stunk. Yesterday before the Gold hockey match, the girls went outside and it was beautiful here: 40 degrees full sunshine. I decided to take the Bear Super Mag out and try shooting. I was able to fling a dozen shots without aggravating the ribs. Huge win for me!
