THÉ NOIR 29 | Le Labo
THÉ NOIR 29 was high on my review list and recommended for this time of year. We’re still in winter, and while I prefer lighter options during the workday, I’m open to more during the colder months.
I’ve been leaning towards woody notes. This definitely starts with dry fig and citrus. I thought I might have chosen wrong, but cedarwood emerged and lasted most of the day.
The broader description would include a dark, not heavy, tea/wood profile. Bergamot, fig, and bay leaf. Followed by cedarwood, vetiver, and musk. Then, black tea brings a dry, leafy, tobacco-like feel in the drydown.
I’m still just beginning to explore these, and I find it challenging to notice the full range of fragrances described above. In the future, I look forward to reviewing these experiences in more detail.
