Description from the MM website:
"The Feeling: It’s the perfect sunny 75 degree day as you make your way to the country club to hit a round of golf. With a sense of unapologetic confidence and invincibility, you rendezvous with friends for a pre-game ritual of bourbon and cigars, setting the tone for an unforgettable day on the course. At this moment, you are ready to effortlessly tackle the challenges ahead.
The Notes: Fresh and fruity notes of melon and bergamot soften into unique and luxurious notes of pineapple and amber before warming into notes of vanilla and musk." It has the underlying Michael Malul scent profile that carries through their line.
Performance:
This is not a great performer. First hour was arm's length, moving into a scent bubble for the next couple of hours. I expect this to be dead at 5 hours.
Thoughts:
The name and presentation do not match the scent profile. To me it looks like it would be a masculine, professional fragrance with the name Citizen Jack Absolute showing a brown and gold bottle (10mL is clear with gold). The description talks about a manly meeting over drinks and cigars. However, this is akin to Xerjoff's Erba Pura. A lighter, cheaper smelling version with worse performance. My wife asked if I was mistakenly wearing a women's version; said it smells good like something she would wear.
I was excited to try this one out, but its a bust for me.
