Scent Application???

Gentlemen,

I know this is probably a complete NOOB question, but be that as it may I still must inquire"

From my research I am aware there are basically 4 "Scent Spots" to use when applying. The Right/Left sides of the neck on the "carotid artery" thereabouts, or the "heat spot" for the "Lean In" whiff. And on each of the wrists for the "Greeting" whiff.

My question is: With spray dispenser bottles, do you spray the wrists and then contort to rub them on your neck in the right spot? Or do you spray your neck and then touch your wrists to your neck without rubbing and bruising the scent as I've heard it be said?

I know applying to much is bad form, and it is verboten to spray a $$$ cloud in the air and walk through it. Do you just do 1 spray on each index finger and then touch your opposite neck and wrist real quick?

Any guidance is appreciated gentlemen.
