One big misconception I had to learn the hard way:
Just because you’re not hungry on a GLP doesn’t mean your body doesn’t need fuel.
These meds change your appetite signals, but they don’t change your body’s requirements for protein, micronutrients, and recovery fuel. If you skip meals too often, your body may start burning muscle instead of fat — and that’s the opposite of what most of us want.
The quicker you realize it’s not about eating less, but about eating smarter (right balance of protein, carbs, and fats in smaller, more intentional meals), the smoother the transition will be — and your body will thank you.
👉 I’m curious:
- Have you noticed a difference in your strength, energy, or recovery if you eat vs. if you skip when not hungry?
- How do you remind yourself to feed your body’s needs when your appetite isn’t guiding you?
- What meal timing or structure has worked best for you while on GLPs?
