Feedback on 12 bar blues, newish licks
I recently picked up three or four new blues licks, and in this short (1:24) composition, I tried to use them all, mostly focusing on one particular lick per verse. It doesn't quite sound like a blues solo to me, it sounds more like an exercise, but I can't seem to get it to sound more interesting, and frankly I've played it so many times that it's too boring to work on anymore.
Looking for feedback on any of:
1) technique that stands out as needing help
2) how to improve the composition to make it less boring
3) some alternative approaches for bars 9-12 of each verse
4) anything that strikes you as notable
