In light of Dr. Weird podcast on AI kobyasi Mauru scenario- my SS account is through IDme. I also connected my medicare account through IDme. I also linked my IRS account to IDme. I have IRS small pension through OPM. OPM only uses login.gov. I locked my SS number over a year ago through e- verify. If anyone has anything to add that would help me keep my info more secure please reply. I would appreciate it.

My partner is drawing his own social security off of his own wages. Can he also get any benefits from his 27 year old divorce and are there any other benefits that he may be eligible for? He is self employed and works when he can and has several physical injuries from his 28 year old accident.

I have two issues. I filed for 2025 Tax Return in Feb. IRS is has refund on hold pending Social Security Verification. I called IRS several times. I called Soc Secuiry- Got an extremely rude person who told me there was nothing that could be done... Contacted my State Senitor and they are trying to get a response but have not been able to get it to move forward either. It has been neer 10 months now. What can I do? Also, I was told when I filed under Devoreced benefits at 62 as I had been a at home mother most of my life, I was told that I could continue to collect on my Divorced (married 33 years) benefits until 75 which would give me time to build up my fund and then I could collect at mine on age 75. Soc Security took me off Devoced Spousal benefits at about 69 because I could collect fourteen ($14) dollars more on mine. I was told I could work to build mine until 75. I contacted Soc Security but they wouldn't honor what they told me when I filed at age 62... Can I do anything? I am now 76 and have to work and am collecting minimal benefits.....

My fiancé will be turning 60 in a couple of months. What is the process for him to start claiming his deceased wife's social security? Is is fairly simple or are there other factors to consider? Thanks!
