Basecamp is closing, here's what's next
Basecamp is coming to a close. Here's the honest reason why. It's become clear that people don't come to Human Time through more content or simply having a place to hang out. They need to actually experience Human Time, and then have a community of fellow practitioners to support the work that follows. Human Time is metaphorically much closer to an entirely different operating system for life than it is a new app to install. The opportunity is much bigger than simply adding better tools or ideas to the way we already live. People need to experience what a different way of life actually feels like. That’s what The Path is designed to do. The Path is a six-week guided experience built to help people move out of the patterns of Machine Time and begin practicing a more human way of living and working. We’ve also realized that the role of community is clearest after those six weeks. That’s when the experiential foundation is in place. It’s when new patterns begin getting tested against work, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday life. And it’s where ongoing practice, alongside other people doing the same work can make the biggest difference. Without that foundation, there’s a real risk that good ideas and practices get absorbed into a slightly better version of Machine Time. So rather than continuing Basecamp as a standalone community, we’re building the community experience around what comes next after The Path. Our hope is that many of you will join us there. The next Path cohort begins October 12, with enrollment opening next week. We’re also making a number of substantial changes to The Path this time around, and we’ll be sharing more about those soon. Because you’ve been part of Basecamp, we’ll be offering you a special discount for this upcoming cohort. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping us learn what this work wants to become. More details next week. For now, just wanted you to hear this directly from me. All the best,

Minimalism?
This year, spring cleaning has been a return to the concept of minimalism and simple living - physical, digital, and financial. I have been reading books ("goodbye, things" and "new minimalism" were both very eye-opening) and subscribing to youtube channels ("laura larson organizing", "sunny kind journey", "gabe bult") to retrain my consumer mind. Have any of you explored this philosophy? Do you have any resources to share which were influential in your journey? P.S. Enjoy these images of monastery guest houses.

FYIM v Life Atlas
Hello all! This may have been asked before but I can’t seem to find anything on this, but I’m curious about Find Your Inner Monk and Life Atlas. I have both but haven’t begun either of them and wondering which would make the most sense to compete first? I know FYIM is a much longer process than Life Atlas, and I realize they probably are quite complimentary. But again, wondering on the best way to approach these two courses. Thanks!
