FYIM v Life Atlas
Hello all! This may have been asked before but I can’t seem to find anything on this, but I’m curious about Find Your Inner Monk and Life Atlas. I have both but haven’t begun either of them and wondering which would make the most sense to compete first? I know FYIM is a much longer process than Life Atlas, and I realize they probably are quite complimentary. But again, wondering on the best way to approach these two courses. Thanks!

@Steven Lawson Thanks! Very helpful, especially the idea of FYIM being one of my goals 😊 That being said, I think I’ll be starting FYIM.

Ok. So when I went to Kajabi, I had forgotten I also have Five to Flourish. So, here’s me latest plan. This week, I’ll do the Five to Flourish program which will take my just about to June 1, where my intention is FYIM. Let the journey…begin!
Planner Question
Good afternoon all, just curious, for those who have used both the daily and weekly planner, which works best for you and why? Does anyone use both simultaneously?

Hi Terri. I think someone asked Thai a while ago on the Facebook group. I’m not sure if you’re in that group or not. I’ll see if I can find it and copy and paste it unless someone else answers your question before I get the chance 😊

Hi again. OK, I couldn’t find anything in the Facebook group. So hopefully people who use both planners simultaneously will chime in.
Setting Aligned Goals for 2026 (Workshop Recording)
If you missed the workshop yesterday or would like to watch it again, the recording is now live in the classroom. Appreciate such a large turnout. We will look into adding seats for future workshops so everyone who wants to attend live is able to. For those who attended (or who watched the recording) - what was the biggest takeaway or lesson you took away?

Due to a last-minute conflict, I wasn’t able to attend. I’ll carve out time in the next few days to watch and take notes. Thanks @Steven Lawson for leading this. I always appreciate your insights šŸ™šŸ»
New Year, New Focus
Greetings fellow MM tribe. In addition to the monthly themes that MM suggests, I also choose a yearly theme. This year it was ā€œstillnessā€ and next year I’m focusing on ā€œsilence.ā€ I wonder if any one else chooses a yearly theme or focus?

@Agnes Brady that’s a cool idea and it lets the Spirit guide the process. 😊
What's to come...
We've had a number of new members join in the past week as we prepare for our workshop Wednesday.(if you haven't already - make sure to mark your calendar if you are able to attend at 1pm ET.) As such, I thought it would be helpful to paint a picture of what you can expect from Basecamp moving forward. At Monk Manual we are dedicated to helping people shift from machine time -> human time. Everyone in this group, myself included, was born into an era where being human meant being productive - and this production based mindset has impacted virtually every area of our life. It impacts how we approach our time It impacts the direction we set for our lives It impacts our relationships It impacts our health It even impacts the way we approach our spiritual life For years, we had been presenting the Monk Manual as a better mousetrap as it were in the productivity space. But we've realized that this doesn't really honor the real change people need in their lives. Productivity thinking has all the right answers to the wrong questions - and as such never really delivers on the seemingly elusive peace and purpose we are all after. Weren't not offering an improvement on productivity thinking, we are offering and entirely different alternative to productivity, one focused on serving vs diminishing our humanity and what actually leads to human flourishing. The urgency to take up this flag has only been accelerated by the adoption of AI and the meaning crisis that seems to be taking hold at increasing rates. Basecamp will be a place to begin a new season in your life, one marked by living time like a human rather than a machine. So what should you expect? 1. Over the coming weeks we will be rolling out some videos introducing the TimeWise framework which will provide you with an overview on how you can begin the shift. I'm really looking forward to sharing this with you, it's been a long time coming. 2. We will also soon begin hosting live calls to help you with your Monk Manual practice, and time practice more broadly. 3. Throughout 2026 we are going to be hosting workshops each month tied to themes that we will be working towards together.

Thank you @Steven Lawson for your out-of-the-box thinking and vision for all things MM. I’m glad to have been part of this journey for a few years now. and look forward to hearing and seeing what’s to come. I completely agree that as a society, we have focused so much on productivity that we’ve lost the personal connection.
