Why We Don’t Recommend GLP-1 Medications
GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Tirzepatide) suppress appetite — but they do not repair the underlying causes of weight gain or metabolic disease. At Bedrock, our goal is restoration, not suppression.
What GLP-1s Do
  • Suppress appetite and slow stomach emptying.
  • Create short-term weight loss by eating less.
  • Do NOT correct insulin resistance, inflammation, or nutrient deficiencies.
What They Don’t Fix
  • Insulin resistance (the true root of metabolic disease).
  • Hormone imbalance or thyroid dysfunction.
  • Gut damage, nutrient depletion, or nervous system dysregulation.
Known Risks of Long-Term Use
  • Delayed gastric emptying → nausea, GERD, bloating.
  • Gallbladder dysfunction and bile flow impairment.
  • Thyroid signaling interference.
  • Muscle loss and metabolic slowdown.
  • Increased anxiety in sensitive nervous systems.
Our Philosophy
We use nutrition, minerals, nervous system regulation, and metabolic repair to restore natural appetite signaling. Hunger is not the enemy — it is information.
