- Big differences in Claude usage across countries and US states.
- Richer countries (and states) use Claude more per worker.
- High-income areas lean toward collaboration with Claude over straight-up automation.
- In lower-income areas, Claude is being used more for task automation.
- Businesses using the Claude API automate way more than individual users.
- Over 9 months, directive automation jumped from 27% to 39% overall.
- Use is expanding beyond coding into education, scientific research, and admin tasks.
