Hi everyone! I wanted to start a conversation and hear your hearts on something 💛
The other night, I hopped into a live with Nick Freitas—he’s a veteran, speaker, and strong voice in the homeschool and family space. I had the chance to ask him a question that’s been on my heart: “How can I better support the homeschool community?”
His answer was simple… but powerful:
👉 “Get involved in homeschool co-ops.”
That really stuck with me.
As a children’s book author and creator of Bright Little Pages, my heart has always been to support families, encourage literacy, and create meaningful moments between parents and children. But I want to do that in ways that truly serve you—not just what I think might help.
So I’d love to open this up for discussion:
💬 If you’re part of a homeschool co-op… what does support look like to you?
💬 What kinds of resources, activities, or books are actually helpful (and not just extra clutter)?
💬 Would things like author visits, read-alouds, or themed activity days be something your group would enjoy?
💬 What do you wish more creators/businesses understood about homeschool families?
I’m here to learn, connect, and serve—so please feel free to share openly!
Also, if you’re part of a co-op (or know one), I would truly love to connect 💛
