Amazon A10 Algorithm Shift: Is Performance Now More Important Than Keywords?
Has anyone else noticed how Amazon’s “A10” algorithm updates seem to be shifting the game? There’s growing discussion that Amazon’s newer ranking system has moved away from heavy keyword matching and is now prioritizing performance-based signals — especially things like conversion rate, sales velocity, click-through rate, and overall engagement. This seems to be particularly impactful during a book’s critical first 30 days on the market, where early performance may matter more than traditional keyword optimization alone. If this is accurate, it could mean that visibility is becoming less about stuffing keywords and more about how well a book actually performs once it’s live. Curious to hear what others in the community think: Have you seen changes in rankings or launch performance that support this shift? 🤔
Amazon A10 Algorithm Shift: Is Performance Now More Important Than Keywords?

@Paulette Ng Yeah, recent insights do support this shift Keywords still help with indexing, but performance now drives ranking—things like CTR, conversion rate, and consistent sales matter more, especially in the first 30 days. It’s less about keyword stuffing and more about: strong cover → clicks → conversions → steady momentum. I tested a free promo too—got downloads and converted into a few sales, which shows engagement really matters now.

@Shelly Stewart Yes you can definitely improve your ranking later—it’s not locked after the first 30 days. The first 30 days just give an initial boost, but Amazon still responds to current performance. If your book starts getting consistent sales, better conversion, and engagement, it can climb again even after months or a year. The key is consistency—not just a short spike. If you relaunch with better marketing and maintain steady activity, the algorithm will pick it up. So it’s never too late—you just need to rebuild momentum the right way 👍
Same Email for All AI Tools — Smart or Risky?
Should I Use One Email Across ChatGPT, Gemini & Claude? Does anyone know if it’s better to use the same email address when signing up for different AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude? I’m wondering if using one email across all of them makes any difference in terms of features, privacy, or how they work — or if it’s better to keep them separate. Curious what others are doing and why 🤔
Same Email for All AI Tools — Smart or Risky?

@Paulette Ng Good question Using the same email doesn’t affect features—each tool works independently. Same email = easier to manage Different emails = better for privacy/separation Most people use one for convenience, but it depends on your preference

@Paulette Ng Good question It’s both smart and risky. AI can save time, but giving full email access isn’t safe. Better to use limited access, a separate account, and always review before sending
Kittl
Hello everyone 👋 I’m interested in hearing from members who have personal experience using Kittl for creating designs —particularly in the context of Amazon KDP, print-on-demand (POD), or other online income streams. If you’ve used Kittl as part of your workflow, I’d appreciate your insights on the following: - How effective you’ve found it for designing products (e.g., books, apparel, digital assets) - Any strengths or limitations compared to other design tools - Whether it has contributed meaningfully to your online earnings - Tips or best practices for beginners looking to get started I’m looking to better understand its practical value from those who have real-world experience. Thank you in advance for sharing your perspectives. ❤️

@Paulette Ng That’s a great question I mainly use Nano Banana for visuals and Canva Pro for layout and publishing—that combo is the most productive for me. Kittl is nice for quick typography designs too.

@Paulette Ng That’s amazing to hear. With four websites, just make sure you don’t spread yourself too stress. Your tool stack is already strong, so now it’s all about consistency and execution. You’re definitely on the right track—just stay patient and keep building 👍
Just published my first 2 books 🤩❤️‍🔥✨
Context, I didn’t start writing books to look up best sellers on Amazon and copy them to make money .I started writing self help books in Oct 2025 for men and boys without guidance ,but learning about book bounty basically paying $4.99 for a review and having to read low quality books for fake reviews just to get 20 to start running ads was alot ingenious behavior I couldn’t sleep with , I ended up going with Lulu and plan to read a chapter of my books live on TikTok ,twitch and instagram daily to get eyes on the prize . How long does Lulu usually take to complete global distribution and does it still end up on Amazon and Barnes and noble when it’s complete ? any advice about Lulu much appreciated thanks everyone

@Matthew Rose I respect that a lot—sticking to your values instead of chasing shortcuts isn’t easy 👍 From what I know, Lulu’s global distribution usually takes around 6–8 weeks after approval, sometimes a bit longer depending on the platform. Yes, it can still list on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, but it’s not as fast or as controllable as publishing directly through KDP. Your idea of reading a chapter daily on TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram is actually a strong move—organic trust builds much better than paid or forced reviews. That kind of consistency can really help you stand out. One thing to keep in mind with Lulu is pricing and distribution reach—you might want to compare margins and visibility with KDP later, even if you stay true to your approach. Overall, you’re playing the long game, and that usually wins. 🙌
I'm a newbie
Hi, I'm on the way to publishing my first series of children's books and I'm very happy to have found a community I can contribute to (when I know something) and to help me find my way.

@Wendy Magill Welcome! 😊 That’s an exciting step—congrats on starting your children’s book series! This community is really helpful for learning and sharing ideas, so you’re in the right place. I’m also on a similar journey—recently published my book Wonder Bird & Zigzag: The Lumina Star (Volume 1) on Amazon (ebook + paperback). Looking forward to learning from each other and growing together 🙌
